Scrutiny Management Board

The Council appoints a co-ordinating scrutiny panel called the Scrutiny Management Board. The remit of this Board is to approve the Annual Scrutiny Work Programme, including those of other scrutiny panels; to retain or determine which panel will assume responsibility for any particular issue; to have the powers of overview and scrutiny in relation to NHS Organisations and associated matters; scrutinise over-arching strategic issues; matters not within the remit of any other scrutiny panel.
