General Purposes Committee (2007/2008)

Terms of Reference

The Council appoints a General Purposes Committee to deal with a diverse range of issues, in particular to make recommendations to Council on the appointment of representatives on outside bodies, civic and ceremonial matters, all matters relating to the boundaries of the Borough and the Wards, the registration of electors and the conduct of European, Parliamentary and local government elections and the power to make, amend, revoke and re-enact by-laws.
